Two pigeons. Two rooftops. One very airborne lunch. Roof Riot brings its snack-flinging rivalry to iPhone Duo, whether you play on the outer screen or open it up for a bigger view.
Pull to aim, make your pull longer for a faster throw, then release. Allow for the wind, watch the rooftops crumble, and try to knock your rival from their perch. Win six rounds to take the match.
That quick contest is part of a bigger tour. Paris and New York are free to play; a one-time Full World Tour unlock adds 22 more cities, making a 24-city route. Finish the normal tour to earn the Hard Tour. The goal is simple: out-aim the rival pigeon and keep the snacks flying.
A roomier rooftop on iPhone Duo
Apple says iPhone Duo availability begins 23 October 2026. It has a 5.4-inch outer display when closed and a 7.6-inch inner display when unfolded, according to Apple’s announcement. Roof Riot supports both ways to play: start or continue a match on the outer display, then unfold for a larger view. The landscape game adapts to the space available; it’s the same game, with the same rules and tour.
More games exploring the fold
These are developer announcements and App Store listings, not reviews. Each takes a different approach to the changing screen:
- Twofold: Pass & Play hides a player’s board on the half-folded screen and passes the turn when the phone folds shut. Its App Store listing shows an expected 23 October 2026 date.
- Orisuji is a paper maze where folded pages bridge gaps along the path. Its App Store listing also shows an expected 23 October 2026 date.
- Torpedo: Sea Battle 2 Player describes tabletop and book-like layouts for a two-player sea battle.
Roof Riot is coming to iOS. Visit the Roof Riot homepage for the download link when it’s available.
